Wth? ^ dude needed self-reassurance? Anyway, i see the reason that the sepoy hp decrease was made, they were a little too good vs ranged units cuz of overkill. It's how sepoy outkilled skirms prior to this im assuming.

This is actually hilarious to me. Due to people whining I've always thought sepoy were actually really strong but they're clearly not that insane at all.

I was doubting that to begin with because of weird group stages in a time slot that doesn't work out for me anyways and this patch makes the decision easier. That'd be all.
The problem is that skirms don't actually counter sepoys when sepoys get in range. I mean, a sepoy and a skirm kill each other in 7 shots, if no hit-and-running, and a skirm is even slightly more expensive. That's not really what I'd call a good counter. And all other musketeer-type units being inferior to the sepoy, you can't really beat them in a musk war. So it's not about how hard hit-and-running with skirms is, just about how gay of a unit the sepoy is Good that they nerfed that shit.
Btw you can't just multiply stats by 1.2 and expect to get a relevant result, because of drop-off, overkill and other stuff. If you make 2 unupgraded musketeers fight vs 1 imperial musketeer (+100% hp and attack), you'll see that the imperial musketeer will still have around 25% of its hp left. So it would be a good trade to pay twice more for an age 5 musk, just like it's a good trade to have sepoys with their 20% extra cost compared to regular musketeers
