Pull trick also helps melee infantry greatly.
No?
watch hazza's stream and you'll see he's constantly flipping with his skirm rod composition. both kaiser and mitoe have used dopp uhlan pull trick in tourney games
I do also flip skirm/rods,maces/pumas and so on. That's not pull trick. Pull trick is when you use the formation mechanic to move units at 200% speed across a whole screen.
It is the same mechanic but it's not the same use. And back to the previous, it doesn't help meele infantry. Because hardly heavy infantry wants to be pulled back when it finally meelee something.
it's using units nearby to boost your other units to max velocity. it's a slightly different use but it's still pull trick
i also do this type of pull trick in the mameluke ronin cassador time to micro scenario. i use my cassadors to flip my ronins directly into the melee skirmish

The pull trick abuse is mostly to beat the snare and get out of sticky situaitons.
top scene in aoe 3 is who can utilize the gamebreaking stuff the best? should just allow fast shooting I guess and let everyone hone their abusing "skills" ^^ as much as possible. im totally in for that.

Because no one abused it until fairly recently?
I mean sure, but there's been very little evidence presented to show that it's actually game-breaking. There's definitely some situations where it's very good, but it's been a mostly well-understood mechanic for a couple of years at this point, and it feels like I can't really use it in the vast majority of my games, nor do I really see anyone else able to abuse it to the extent that it seems broken.
The situations in which it's arguably broken is mostly with pulling infantry with cavalry, except you almost never have enough cavalry to actually do that, and if you do then you're putting all of your eggs in that pull basket and you're likely not going to be able to win any straight up fights.
I'm not arguing either way. I don't even know how impactful it is because I've never seen it abused. My only point was that it makes sense that people took this long to start complaining about it.

yeah i would sprint the fuck away from a losing fight too
You cant even answer a yes/no question with one word if the other person explicitly asks you to do that.
And You want to get solutions to problems by discussing?

Also alt d is the same mechanic as switching a pikeman to cover mode. Just cause something uses the same mechanic as a legitimate and intended game function doesn't mean it is a legitimate and intended game function( it also doesnt mean it isnt, but you cant say flipping units is legit and intended therefore pulling a cannon halfway across the map at 6 speed is legit and intended.)
No one said it was intended for you to use it to pull your units: it's simply taking advantage of the well-defined principles in how the formation mechanic was designed to work, whereas Alt-D subverts well defined mechanics for revival.
