Could it be an idea to contact Robo and see if he would let us in on the code behind the rec game setup?

Well, we already contacted RTSS and we already have the source code used by game replays as well. The problem is that both of them use PHP, whereas we must do our stuff in JS. So we can't just copy / paste or anything.
It's "in the works" as I like to say, though if you know anyone who could help, we would love to hear from them.

Well, I''m guessing that basically the idea would be to write a JS script which would do the following things:
- Extract nicknames from a replay file
- Extract any other useful information from the replay file (civs, maps, etc)
- Use extracted information and insert that into a table (something
- Post table in the thread ( something like this kind of ) that the uploader creates
Something along those lines. ~
