It's not annoying, it's good.

You are a pleb. I browse this site on phone at least 40 times a day. Any additional scrolling of clicking necessary is extremely annoying.

You don't need to scroll, you can tap active threads in the hamburger menu just like the old times.

Oh, ok. Now it is not as bad.

• Reactivated most ladder functionality, work on performance optimizations is ongoing.
• ESOC Patch landing page has been remastered and reimplemented as an embedded wiki page.
• Tournament profile has received further polish - can click matches to open detail in a nice pop-up, can click event image to open its forum section.
• Brackets page has received further polish and native support for mono-civ.

Work mostly done by @Buckethead with some consulting help from other devs. EP landing page revamp done by @EAGLEMUT. EP version history has also been moved to wiki, work done by @edeholland & @EAGLEMUT.

Dumb nitpicky thing: I don't know how it works (i.e. manual ordering or some rule) but the current ordering of the two events looks a bit strange to me, i.e. the later Kaiser vs Diarouga event appearing above the earlier duolckrad vs empireboss. I don't know if that is deliberate or not but it does look weird to me so I thought I would mention.

Yeah that's bug, I meant it to be the other way. Going to fix today

I believe its been temporarily disabled -- the page was poorly written and causing site-wide performance issues.

Hopefully will be back sometime in the near future? I don't know the plan.

The search feature in ladders is no longer case sensitive.

ESOC About page has been updated and reimplemented as an embedded wiki page.

Fixed bug where the post buttons bar (Like post, edit, report etc...) on the post that was the target of a URL anchor (e.g., a direct post URL ending in #p363900) appeared above the post instead of within it. The "Active topics" links on the front page are direct links to the last post in the thread, so it was common to see this when navigating from there.

This bug occurred on the mobile and tablet layouts.

Feel free to report weird display bugs like this somewhere in this subforum -- it is too much for us to test all combinations of operating systems, browsers, and window sizes, so we aren't always aware that things are not working properly.

Active EP Players page has been resurrected by @Buckethead.

• Fixed an issue where top10 Elo sidebar would display worse rank than intended for currently logged-in user, due to ladder bans not being taken into account.
• In global ladder standings, the row containing current logged-in user's standing is now highlighted.

In the course of the betting event, I found it was very difficult to find a player's forum profile based on the brackets when I wanted to view their tournament history on their profile. So I made some improvements:

Added the event calendar date, forum name/profile link, ESOC Ladder Elo (Official/EP/Treaty based on tournament type) and PR to the brackets match preview:



Completed games display just the forum name/profile link:



And the match view should be more functional on mobile than previously:
