I didnt get the papal guard politican change tbh. They say "Now enables Guard Bow/Pike upgrades to be researched at no cost rather than activating them and their prerequisites instantly" and then " Reduces the cost of royal Guard upgrade from 1000/gold and coin to 300/gold and coin". So does the upgrade cost 300/gold and wood or is it for free?

Simple guard ups are free. Royal guard is 300/300 instead of 1000/1000, which means you get the guard up for free and a 100/100 discount on the royal part.

You know guard ups are 600/600 and royal guard are 1000/1000 ? Now guard will be free and royal guard will be 300/300.

Yeah i know that. The thing i didnt get was that if they did change the guard bow upgrade to royal guard like the royal guard upgrade for pikes. I got it now, guard bow costs nothing and royal guard pike upgrade costs 300/gold and wood.

Sweden has jaegers available from the saloon and can train them from barracks once they get the right shipment.

Thinking of it, Swede starting crates don't make much sense. Also idk why the civ doesn't have 6 vills like other euro civs, it just makes it harder to balance.

The guard upgrade for crossbows and pikemen is free, but you need to research the veterancy upgrade first which it wasn't required before.
The 300w/300g cost seems to be for melee units such as halberdiers.
So dutch for example can research guard halberdier for 300g and 300w

There's time to buff China. It's good that this is being standardized because it previously operated in a very unintuitive and quite literally hidden way.

Yep, for 300 gold each. They have fortress stats as well 300hp/70atk

I found a workaround to this. Assuming you mean how you can’t see things through buildings. Start a skirmish ai game. Then change shadows to any other setting and apply it. Then change it back to what it was. You should be able to see things through buildings now.

However this triggers another bug causing xp numbers to not show for that game which is why you do it in skirmish mode (unless you don’t care about xp numbers) and also you have to do this every time you reboot the game.

Sweden same OP as before.

Only real nerf is torp +10 wood, this doesn't affect too much, full build for torps cost not 200w more than before. Greedy boom power didn't nerf too much.
Torps still controlling the map, cheap cost for bonus, hard to be destroyed with less cost being killed a vil, etc.

Carolean just became a bit like normal musk, OP range-resist didn't change, got boost in age2 to cover their weakness.

I don't know why many people said RIP to Sweden?
