age 3 cuirass is not cost effective. they're expensive, train slowly, and without mass and cav combat shipment they're not strong. if you go dragoon and skirm you may win.
also, as this is a poor map, you can collect more gold and send 7 black rider/12 swiss pikemen to protect your skirm. or build a saloon. french should have at least one mercenary shipment in age 3, as they're strong, and even stronger on low hunt maps(like this).
