Battlefield 1 is the most overrated game of the year

I'm ashamed to say that I actually bought into the hype.

The campaign is a mind-numbing arcade shooter and multiplayer, even after you have learned the maps and the role of each class, mostly involves walking around huge maps and then getting shot by a tank or artillery shell. Why is this game so highly rated wtf.

CoD and BF are pretty different. CoD is much more fast-paced, and BF more versatile into what you can do to win the game. Personally I don't like BF. It's slow.

BF also pretty much killed their "realism" vibe with BF1. IDK why they would do that, as some consider it a selling point. It's getting more and more like CoD. Don't even ask me about GTA: Hardline

The game is unforgiving to newer players, because people had early access and got all of the OP guns in the game. Once you level up, however, it becomes super easy to play...

Hardline was my favorite battlefield, because weapons actually damaged most vehicles

Way too PC due to Dice being in Sweden and historically inaccurate.

Infinite Warfare looks to be way more exciting and I hate the dumbed-down to hell, made for the consoles and constant press E non-stop action for the ADHD kids COD series.

I kinda like the trailer for the campaign though for Infiinite warfare. I am sick of this future warfare bull. Just stick to remastering MW2 thats all I need. Most balanced game ever made.

BF1 is pretty amazing i think. It is beautiful, realistic as far as shooters go. I will say it is challenging. I don't play a lot but have played it as a sniper mostly and generally get killed more than I deal out, or do have long pauses waiting for some to pass. I love how interactive the maps are and the battle damage done by tanks. I mean come on, floating zepplins, armored trains, forts and castles cavalry, battle ships, bi-planes, basic weapons, melee variety. this game is pretty cool.
