I've actually read that the studio working on a "beloved strategy series" was dissolved in 2016, but have no idea how credible this source is:

I dug deep and found absolutely nothing else new, anywhere.

Sorry for bumping an old thread @pecelot, but I've just found further evidence supporting this claim.
On the official AOEDE forums, someone recently made a thread about Decisive Games and apparently even a former ex-DG member himself came in to confirm that it was disbanded "a lot longer ago than last year". I had my doubts with only the one reference from neogaf around, but now this is enough to convince me it is truly the case - Decisive Games is sadly no more and basically didn't even get to start working on anything substantial.
Still not sure what to expect from this hyped upcoming announcement, but it's not gonna be a DG thing.
