I really think spain can hold tu double jan without CM, just time well 7rods+5dogs+mm (+4 huss if the TC can survive the age up), which H2O did really bad vs raph and Imo misslead people about this MU

isnt CM superior to 7 rods in fighting jans? (6rods if talking re)

Idk actually, maybe but anyway sometimes you just miss the 2xrax because the otto tries to hide then and when the jans are comming it's too late for a CM so 7 rods works, but yeah if you know for sure a 2xjans is comming, then go for 700g/CM I guess

Btw it's 25 jans at 6.30 at your TC. 4 huss 7 rods 6mm TC dogs, first card in fortress can probably barely clean that up but it's too risky imo.

Hold them in place while mm dog and hussars try to kill them. I think they can tank a few hits extra with cover mode too

I'd rather send CM, then probably even pikes before rods

They just seem better.

7 rods are by far superior to 8 pikes. When jammed in in cover mode, rods absorb 50% of ranged damage and 40% of meelee damage. Jans in particular have both pretty mediocre for their cost so if not microed manually they almost deal no damage whatsoever.
