is french weak or i'm just a noob

Of the two civs I consider using Sioux to be easier and for them to be stronger. Some people argue sioux are OP, some say they are UP, but they just give me headaches. It could be that you're having to learn a more balanced civ that is currently requiring more effort then you're used to. Hang in there, you will get the hang of them.

I have tough time dealing with France players. France is very good civ. 1% better than average.

That''s because theyre so versatile and can really do anything: ff, semi-ff, xbow/pike, musk/hus, fi (if that is even viable

French FI is actually viable on Texas. Ive saw Boneng doing that.

Anything else is just highly comfortable for French. Its just very decent civ to play with.

Suiox are just a top 2-3 civ. You will find it harder if you are not playing them I think.

No they are not. Otto, china and jap are better if not fre/ger/brit.

I would also say that because better eco probably all game, and better unit comp in age 3

Texas probably had nothing to do with it. Boneng tends to race to age4 in most of his games that I''ve seen.

but goons are more effective against BRs then ww and u cant mass as many ww as goons

this is a really good observation and I think it happens to me a lot as well. Just need to figure out some timings for xbow shipment + mm pop to take map I guess? What do u guys suggest for improvement?

this is if he attack you.

if he dont attack you, you are screwed because with the map control the opponent can just age.
