Hello, ESOC guys! We're here to announce our next release v1.5 which will contain the following new patches:
Creating custom syscalls: syscalls are functions that can be called directly in XS scripts or UI xmls. Now it's possible to create custom ones based on built-in syscalls, and also using syscalls that are originally in a different scope. For example, calling screenshot() (UI Function) in the AI script.
Define new cheats: Allows defining new cheats and code their behavior in C/C++.
2 Team limit: Changes the team limit to 4 with each team having 1 or more players. Both singleplayer and multiplayer (including ES Online and LAN) are supported.

They use an assembler to add functionality to the exe file itself. Really advanced modding basically. It even let's you define cheat codes for game (the ones you type when you check allow cheats). They are literally adding more features previously not thought possible.

which no one uses. I wish aoe 3 was a lot more like aoe 2 in all the unrated game modes. Playing ffa in aoe2 with diplomacy enabled is a lot of fun

@danielpereira Nice, great work on putting this out! I haven't yet got an idea what I could use the syscall plugins system for on EP, but it seems super cool. I have a question; was the team limit patch further tweaked since April when I got it from kangcliff? Just wondering whether I'm supposed to apply the stable patch again or if it's the same.
