the hunts are unbalanced, seen map 3x and 3x its been unbalanced, 1 side getting 2 herds close other one gets them spawned far away. its not that big of a deal if the hunts are bit far but they have to be equal for both.
Yeah i agree with the empty spaces, i need to make it a bit less monotonous.
About the hunts, well im going to check this, but im sure its easy to do.
And what about cliffs ? I think the two cliffs are a bit too big in 1v1 no ? In the present situation i think they promote a bit too much a defensive playstyle, isnt it ?
The small ponds was an interesting add too , Monitor them in late game can surely be usefull in some sitations But are the ponds rdmly spawned or is it fixed laked around each player base? perhaps thats already the case, just played this several times so far so but im curious ?

Yep, the ponds are randomly spawned on the map. Do you think every player would need a fixed lake near his base ?

nahh not really i think , Rdm lakes is just as interesting , if you reach late game stage then thoose lakes/hotspots might be extra valuable to control depending on where they spawn which is kinda cool

Might be correct, but do consider you have more or less 15-20 min to prevent that from happening, also theese ponds are supersmall so ez to push away with culvs, only an issue really if u dont notice and suddenly theres few frigs and 2 fully upgraded mortars, but this applies to almost any map with water presense so its fine. And if somebody invest all that stuff for pond controlw/ships which dont grant 2much mobility for the warships you can just push other side and if you cant you likely already lost.
OK Guys i have done an update. Since some players have raised some intersting critics, i'm releasing a new version of the map. So this is Mendocino V2. I'm editing my first post, you can download it there.
I'm adding an intersting point here too. When it is FFA mode, the game will automatically set up in 1v1 obs, which is a pretty pleasant setting. I'm going to ask Aizamk if he can share me is UI for having a better obs experience.

@Durokan No, i just use a glitch of the game. The thing is that you don''t even need a zoom mod for zooming as you want on the map, but it''s not really known by players. So i''m not going to tell you since you can "cheat" with it

Well I would like to use it to screenshot maps Ive made. If you dont want to tell me, would you mind screenshotting them for me at some point?
I guess I could just change the camera height in the game files...
I did a test and in 1V1 in terms of exp/ressources grants, it is pretty the same. (2 roads VS 1 road)
Why 2 roads so ? Because the bonus is like for one road, but in terms of strategic decisions, you can control the middle of the map by buildings, and the stagecoach don't go there, it means you don't see what's happening in the middle of the map.
