Fail to join, help?
I am having big problems with fail to join.
It just randomly started getting worse, i changed nothing.
I have forwarded my ports and contacted my isp to change my ip to public.
I have no firewall blocking aoe.
Tried to share my phones 4G.
Nothing helped . Anyone know what to do? Or could it be this is out of my control?
All help appreciated!!!!!!

Not sure if it can fix your problem but have you tried to enable "Universal Plug and Play (UPnP)" ?

Try restarting the game after every game you play. Don't wait too long in the lobby or you will have to restart aswell. This is the only thing that worked for me. Other options are port forwarding which didn't help for me or changing the router. Did you deactivate Wan and have you tried to deactivate your anti virus programs. Did you make an exception for aoe in the windows firewall. Also you should run the game as an administartor all the time. I don't think it actually helps since it's p2p but you can easily set it up. So it's always running in administator mode. Restarting the router and changing the ip adress is also an option. I don't think changing the provider helps but often you get a different router with other options. What about the port filters and the anti virus control of your router? Are they deactivated? Did you delete all port filters? Just played against you so at least you can connect with me:)

Re: Fail to join, help?
restarting the game doesnt help.
i have exception for aoe in firewall.
The thing about the router is that even if i unplug it and put the internetcable straight in the wall it still doesnt work.
Tbh im not sure what happens behind the wall. there is a thing in the box for all the electricity in my apartment that says "mediabox" and i put internetcable in that to decide wich of all the holes in my walls i wanna use.
I dont know what kind of setup this is, i really dont understand it.
Maybe this is the problem and im basicly fked?.

Re: Fail to join, help?
I tried use hotspot shield. That helped so i could join to most people, but instead have red ping with everyone.
Even chat in ESO is laggy.
My internet is 100/10
Can i fix that somehow?
